Artist's Comments

Gawd! I lost it. I lost my drawing skills. I don't really like this piece because it really looks.. bleh.. You can tell how absolutely, artistically depressed I am? All done using the pen tool and round brushes.

----

After looking at it more, this artwork really tells where I am inside. The darkness, depression and sadness and waiting to be in the light again.
Flowers = me
Black = my emptiness that's surrounding me
Red and the stems from the little flowers = my passion for art that seems to be missing from me waiting to be rejoined again
Main flower = lifeless and pale because of lack of inspiration and passion

Am I going to have the fullness of my passion again? When will that happen? I just have to keep trying.

O.o I really dont see how you think that's bad, but I guess a lot of people think that way about some of their own work, anywaaaay, I love it. :)

This looks awesome! I know that feeling sometimes, but it prevents you from seeing the highs of this picture! The red set against the black is gorgeous and the flowers seem to be bursting from space full of fiberoptic light! Very nicely done peice :D

this is just :eyepopping: if you really think that you lost your skills well I would like to have the same effect when I lost my skills (if I had any...)

Your art is always so breath-taking! I love the colors you use and the textures.
I love it sweetie. :glomp:

it is absolutely beautiful, but you knew I would say that.
To everyone else it doesn't look like you've lost your artists soul, but it is important that you feel you have it back. god knows what you'll create when the time strikes.

It's really pretty! I love the colors you used, especially the red line against the black background. The whole image gives an almost retro yet futuristic feel to it. I don't think you've lost anything; your skills are improving from what I can see. But if you still feel something's a miss, you can always take a break to refresh your mind. It's what I do when I feel like I've fallen into a slump. Otherwise, great work! ^___^

Oh, it's nice, not crappy.

Reality overcomes me... I'm living a lie.

Thia you are such a perfectionnist that you always need not only better but the best because you are able to do it, you've got the skills to. That's why I probably haven't the ability to make "true" feedbacks about your work : from my point of view this artwork is gorgeous : the flowers are breath-taking, all the shapes gorgeous and I'm not yet taling about the colors and whole layout. Honey, don't feel depressed : you have done a stunning artwork. If you think that you can do better but don't feel creative right now , try a little break ;) and never feel discouraged because I know that you have everything you need in yourself to be the best and to get this creativity you'll just need more time and patience but I know you'll do it.
